On this sacred evening of the Autumn Equinox, we gather as the Wheel turns toward Mabon, the Second Harvest, and the season of descent. The fruits of the Earth have ripened, the leaves begin to change, and the gates between the worlds slowly open as the God journeys toward the mysteries of the Underworld.

In Circle, we will enter the mystery of balance, release, and sacred descent. Like the trees surrendering their leaves, Mabon reminds us that letting go is not failure, but part of the natural rhythm of life. There are times to grow and times to harvest, but there are also times to release what has completed its purpose and allow it to return to the Earth. We honor what has nourished us, give thanks for what has been gathered, and make space for what must now fall away.

At the threshold between light and darkness, we ask ourselves: What am I ready to let fall?

We invite you to step into this circle of Perfect Love and Perfect Trust, to walk between the Light and the Dark, to give thanks for the harvest of your life, and to enter consciously into the mysteries of autumn. Together, we turn the Wheel toward the dark half of the year, trusting that what is released is not simply lost, but returned to the greater cycle of death, renewal, and rebirth.
